Palm Sunday

In the wake of COVID-19 and social distancing, my wife and I brainstormed how we could distribute Palms to our congregation and friends. Traci came up with the excellent idea of bundling the palms together, attaching a prayer, and placing them in a basket outside of our church. Great! (Remember, even though this was Traci’s idea, we come as a pair).

So, Palm Sunday, drive up to the upper parking lot, and on the bench outside of our church you will find palms to help you worship Palm Sunday and Holy Week! Bring a friend!

In closing, remember to check our website for new information, and keep enjoying the on-line services I am so gratefully creating with the help of Chris Dietrich. And know that I am continuing to keep current with any news from the Penn Northeast Conference and the national office of the UCC.     Your Distant Pastor,

Pastor Lou Aita
Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, as He already existed in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but emptied Himself by taking the form of a bond-servant and being born in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death: death on a cross. — Philippians 2:5-8 (NASV)
