Participants from the local Wapwallopen Ministerium churches will gather at Emmanuel for the Annual CROP Walk on Sunday, October 2. Registration is at 12:30 pm. After a time of prayer, the walk begins at 1:00 pm. We will walk from Emmanuel to St. James Lutheran Church where we will enjoy a brief break and some refreshments. Then, back again to Emmanuel where more refreshments will be waiting. The round trip is an 8-mile hike (or run for some of our more fit participants). You can support this event by sponsoring a walker or by placing your donation in the basket on the bulletin table in the narthex. Donating to the CROP Walk will help strengthen our local resources since 25% of the donations is returned to local organizations, in our case the Wapwallopen Crossroads Ministerium and the food bank it supplies.
