Hurricane Sandy has completely decimated many communities all along the East Coast. Widespread damage has leveled whole cities, towns and villages in Pennsylvania and our nearby states of Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey and New York. While other neighborhoods were not hit as hard, there are still large areas without electricity or clean water. Alan Miller, PNEC Conference Minister, has informed us that a special offering is available through the UCC that will target relief efforts for our mid-Atlantic communities. Envelopes for Disaster Relief will be in the pews through the end of November. Since this is an “above and beyond” offering, 100% of the donations will be used exclusively for relief. So please give generously, both to the Disaster Relief offering and to Emmanuel so that we can continue to minister to our communities here in Dorrance and around the world.
