We will co-host a blood drive with our Boy Scouts on Monday, November 12 (Veteran’s Day holiday) from 2:00 to 7:00 pm. Please keep this date in mind if you are a blood donor. If you’re not, it’s a great day to start. Every donation can help save the lives of up to three people. Our Scouts will be recruiting friends and neighbors to come give blood so we are hoping for a really good turnout. Of course, you can always recruit a friend or two, also. But you won’t be earning the American Red Cross Recruiter Patch – that’s just for the Scouts. They can also earn a Blood Donor patch (if they’re brave enough – oh, yeah, Scouts are brave – Boy Scout Law) and, when they reach the milestone they can earn a Gallon Donor patch.
