On Sunday, June 12, join us during our Worship Service for a presentation about Alzheimer’s disease facts, warning signs and available resources. How can you help as we celebrate and fight Alzheimer’s disease on “The Longest Day”. This event represents and honors those individuals and their caregivers on their “Longest Days”. There will be information, a raffle for a few “Go Purple Prizes” and a chance to make a donation to the Emmanuel UCC Longest Day Team (with Tammy Dauber as the team leader). All monies collected will go to support the NE regional efforts to provide needed services. Thanks again and I am looking forward to speaking with you all!
In the same region there were some shepherds staying out in the fields and keeping watch over their flock at night. And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood near them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them; and they were terribly frightened. And so the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. — Luke 2:8-11 (NASV)
