It was a soggy day for golf, but those who participated
enjoyed the company of good sports. In spite of the
weather, the Golf Tournament turned a profit of
$2,672.50. In addition, the quilt raffle, door prizes and
50/50 chances raised $723.30. Thanks to everyone who
made this fundraiser a success!
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who remain, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. — 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (NASV)
