Welcome to Emmanuel United Church of Christ

Archie and I had a great time in Branson at the retired (Archie) minister’s retreat. It’s nice to begin each day with worship. It just sets a good tone for the day. Then we saw some shows and enjoyed the food. It was a good prayerful and relaxing time away. When I returned this was […]

In the same region there were some shepherds staying out in the fields and keeping watch over their flock at night. And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood near them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them; and they were terribly frightened. And so the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. — Luke 2:8-11 (NASV)

Picture Perfect!

Our church was the host for another great concert by Re- Creation on September 15. It was a very inspirational evening and enjoyed by everyone who attended. Our Chancel Choir again joined in singing God’s praises with our neighboring churches at Singspiration which was held at Stairville UMC on September 22. What a glorious way […]
