Our Youth Group is serving up a delicious Mardi Gras Brunch after our worship service on February 10. We’ll enjoy authentic dishes and genuine zydeco music mixed with some Bourbon Street blues and Creole rhythms. Our Fellowship Hall will be decked out with beads and baubles and there will be games for the kids and adults, too. Plus, we’ve got all the feathers, beads and glitter to create your own special, individual, one-of-a-kind Mardi Gras mask. All this fussin’ is to raise funds for the Youth Group mission trip this summer. They’ll be looking for your donation to help them on their way, so open up your hearts (and wallets and purses) to help them help others. So, come see and pass a good time! (translated means “come here and have a good time”).

MARDI GRAS BRUNCH
In the same region there were some shepherds staying out in the fields and keeping watch over their flock at night. And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood near them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them; and they were terribly frightened. And so the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. — Luke 2:8-11 (NASV)
