Check out all the fun and food at our 3rd annual 300
Club. Nelson and Mary Horwath’s granddaughter, Gemma, was caught having fun in the moon bounce. Ron Rinehimer was really cooking with gas, on the gas grill, that is, serving up hotdogs and hamburgs. Cindy Heller’s granddaughter, Cadence, helped Pastor Penny with the first drawing of the day. And that was just the beginning of a fantastic day of music, food, fun and prizes!
Emmanuel Youth Group and chaperones are ready
for their Mission Trip to Gatlinburg TN in a picture taken just before they left on July 23. The youth, who volunteered their muscles to do roofing, ground work and whatever else came along, include Brooke Rinehimer, Nate Kamowski, Morgan Rinehimer, Josh Cronce, Hunter Rinehimer and Chase Rinehimer. They were accompanied by Youth Group Leader Marc Davis and chaperones Lisa Rinehimer and Caroline Cronce. Thanks for representing Emmanuel through your hard work and caring spirits.
Among the 270 Graduates of Crestwood High School
Class of 2012, were four very familiar faces. Allison Bernetski, Courtney Kania, Kelly Madigan, and Alecia Myers received their diplomas and are now on their way to their new futures. All the best to some of the best and brightest – literally – check the honor rolls from past Messangers!

Some of our athletes were pictured for the end of their 2012 season:
The Crestwood Girls Soccer made it to the WVC District 2 quarterfinals but lost to Lake Lehman. Still, that’s an impressive stat. Playing on the team are Allison Bernetski and Autumn Atkinson. The newly formed Lacrosse Team also played in their District 2 playoff game which they lost to the
Dallas Mountaineers. This fledgling team is looking forward to a full PIAA Schedule in 2013 and becoming a full varsity team. Their record was 6-9-2. Kyle Prelewicz is one of the members of this up-and-coming force.

Who’s your baby? Why it’s Mya Heller, that’s who.
Mya celebrated her first birthday with her whole family, including Mom and Dad, Greg and Jess Heller, Dorothy Heller, Bobby and Helen Heller, Clyde Heller and Florence Sheakoski. Four generations of Hellers are pictured.

Taylor Farrell graduated from MMI on May 24, along
with 36 other seniors. She is pictured with two other graduates from Mountain Top. Congratulations, Taylor!

Our Boy Scouts are in the news again. Troop 434, which includes Hunter Rinehimer and Chase Rinehimer, recently took third place at Camp Akahela’s Mission Impossible Camporee. Approximately 300 scouts competed in the event.

Several members of Troop 434 worked hard at the VA Medical Center to spruce up the veteran’s garden. These
are a great bunch of industrious young men and we’re proud to sponsor them.

In the same region there were some shepherds staying out in the fields and keeping watch over their flock at night. And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood near them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them; and they were terribly frightened. And so the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. — Luke 2:8-11 (NASV)
